“Tech & Tux” – Burlington Makers’ Space Celebrates 2 Years


Burlington’s makers’ space, Generator, is celebrating it’s second year anniversary with a bash showcasing a techno-style ethos.Generator is a co-operative technology center providing access to cutting-edge creative technology for artists, engineers, and entrepreneurs. Generator’s stated mission is to “foster a fertile environment for innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship. We exist at the intersection of art and technology and offer our community a full suite of tools, workspaces, and education opportunities. Generator makes high-tech equipment available to our members: hobbyists, tinkerers, craftsmen, and professionals.”

Burlington’s Generator boast many of Vermont’s most innovative up-and-comers living on the leading edge of the DIY open-source revolution.

Organizers for this year’s “Tech & Tux” party theme celebrates “technology and wearables.” “Don’t have an outfit that fits?” asks the invitation, “We will have teched out costumes available at the photo booth! Get dressed up, blinged up, and strut your stuff.”
